Kateryna Kuhar's 15-year-old son moved to the USA: a new challenge and studying in two schools

In the world of youth and new opportunities, 15-year-old Timur Kukhar, the son of the famous Ukrainian ballerina Kateryna Kukhar, took an important step in his life — he moved to the USA to build his future.

Study choice: between Ukraine and America

Timur began the autumn with a fresh start, choosing to study at two schools at once: in the USA and in Ukraine. Such a double choice of study is not just a challenge, but a real test that can lead to great success. It is difficult for him to get used to the morning rises and the new rhythm of life, but it is this test that stimulates him to action.

"I moved on September 1 and I'm still trying to get used to the new rhythm of life. I'm already starting to adapt, but the hardest thing is waking up for school. I really miss Kyiv and my family, " says Timur.

The American education system: a new experience

The education system in the USA is significantly different from the Ukrainian one. Timur notes that one of the main features is that students have the opportunity to independently choose the subjects they want to study. From mathematics to Spanish, economics and business, the choice is his. However, due to late selection, not all items became available to him.

"The education system here is radically different. I am currently studying in high school (High School), it is grades 9-12. The peculiarity is that the composition of students in the classes is constantly changing, " says the ballerina's son.

Hobbies and future plans

Outside of school, Timur is actively involved in sports, including football, basketball and tennis. In addition, he is interested in real estate, economics and business - areas that, in his opinion, have great potential for future development.

Such saturation of life in the USA certainly opens up new horizons for Timur.
