The American rock group Aerosmith was forced to end its farewell tour Peace Out early due to health problems of the group's soloist. The musicians announced it on the X social network, revealing details about the condition of 76-year-old Steven Tyler.

Health problems of Steven Tyler

Tyler, whose voice is one of the most recognizable in the world of rock music, faced serious problems with his vocal cords. The musicians explained that he spent months recovering, but unfortunately, a full recovery was impossible. Making the decision to end the tour was extremely difficult for the band members, but they did it like a band of brothers.

Thanks to the fans

"Steven's voice is known to be an instrument like no other. He has spent months working tirelessly to get his voice back to what it was before his injury. We have seen him struggle despite being around with him the best medical team. Unfortunately, it is clear that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made the heartbreaking and difficult decision - as a group of brothers - to leave the touring stage, " addressed Aerosmith fans.

The band also expressed their gratitude to their fans who have supported them since the beginning of their career in 1970. Aerosmith recalled how their music became a part of the lives of millions of people around the world.

The beginning and end of the Peace Out tour

The farewell tour Peace Out was announced in May 2023, it was planned to hold 40 concerts. However, already during the first performances, Tyler damaged his vocal cords, due to which the tour had to be postponed. After that, the band gave three more concerts, but later it became clear that it would not be possible to continue the tour.

What's next?

This decision may be the final point in the touring career of Aerosmith, but their music will continue to live in the hearts of fans. It remains to be hoped that Steven Tyler will be able to recover his health and perhaps we will hear his voice in studio recordings.
