A story that started with backing vocals

Albina Dzhanabaeva, one of the brightest members of "VIA Gra", recently shared her fascinating story about how she ended up in the legendary band. Her path began with work as a backing vocalist for Valery Meladze. Valeriy, looking for a new face for his projects, accidentally came across her through a recommendation.

"During the filming of the new clip, Valery talked to someone on the set who was looking for a singing actress for backing vocals. He was given my girlfriend's number, and she was acting in a movie at that moment, so she advised me, " Albina recalls.

Turning point: meeting with Konstantin

After working with Valery, Albina Dzhanabaeva encountered an unexpected offer from Konstantin Meladze, who noticed her talent during a tour in Kyiv.

"Once, during a tour in Kyiv, Kostyantyn Meladze spoke to me and asked if I could theoretically work in a group, " the singer shares. At first everything seemed easy, but the reality turned out to be more complicated.

Rises and challenges of the legendary trio

A year after their conversation, Konstantin invited Albina to join VIA Gra, which marked the beginning of a new era in her life. These years in the band were remembered for touring around the world, recording hits and constant changes.

"This is how the period of the VIA Gra band began - bright, happy and not easy at all, " Albina emphasized. She emphasizes that it was a time of growth and gaining invaluable experience that helped her become the artist she is today.

Each new composition of "VIA Gra" brought a unique charm and energy. However, it was the "golden" line-up with N. Meiher, V. Brezhneva and A. Dzhanabaeva that became iconic. These three women not only captivated listeners with their voices, but also left an unforgettable mark on the world of music.
