Alina Grosu Talks About Her American Move Plans Amidst Ukrainian Winter Retreat
Winter in Ukraine has proven to be a captivating experience for Ukrainian singer Alina Grosu, who has decided to spend her seasonal break in her home country with her husband. While the couple has not yet returned to the United States, where wildfires are gradually being contained, they are already planning a new chapter in an unexpected city.
A New Chapter in the Big Apple
Alina Grosu is considering a bold move from Los Angeles to New York City. The reason? The convenience of having most of her professional engagements centered in the vibrant metropolis. Grosu candidly shared her thoughts with her followers, highlighting the practicality of the move.
"Yes, I am currently here (in Ukraine – ed.). I’m just not very diligent in reporting. We are planning to move from Los Angeles to New York because it’s inconvenient to fly every week, " the singer revealed.
The Weight of Home Comforts
Being back in Ukraine has brought about some unexpected changes for Grosu, notably a five-kilogram weight increase, which she contrasts with the seven-kilogram loss she experiences in the US. This fluctuation, she explains, is due to the delightful, yet calorie-rich, Ukrainian cuisine and the irresistible hospitality of her relatives.
"In America, it’s usually minus seven. When I come to Ukraine, it’s plus five. I’m very stable in my instability. All because of our delicious cuisine. And it’s hard to refuse relatives, " Grosu confessed.
A Winter Wonderland in the Carpathians
Recently, the couple was seen amidst the picturesque Ukrainian mountains in Chernivtsi region, a testament to their love for their homeland and its scenic beauty. This vacation not only strengthens their connection to their roots but also serves as a reflective pause before their potential move to the bustling streets of New York.
Alina Grosu is undoubtedly a woman of many layers, balancing her career across continents while embracing the warmth of home. Her upcoming transition to New York City marks yet another exciting chapter in her multifaceted life.
