Amador Lopez received a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in February 2022 and immediately set himself the ambitious goal of learning the Ukrainian language. Despite ridicule from friends and acquaintances, the artist remained true to his decision.

Motivation to overcome mockery

Lopez admits that the real impetus for learning the language was a full-scale war. "It's very easy. I fell asleep on February 23 and woke up on February 24, " says Amador, emphasizing how important it was for him to speak Ukrainian at this difficult time.

"It's now or never"

The artist said that the beginning of the war became a catalyst for him: "When the full-scale war began, I understood - it's now or never." Maintaining this position, Amador constantly improved his language skills, despite the difficulty of this process.

"I don't have the best Ukrainian language, but it's my own and I'm very proud of it, " Lopes shares.

Staying true to its roots

Despite the new challenge, Amador does not forget about his native Spanish language and considers it as melodious as Ukrainian. This underscores his respect for his own heritage and desire to be authentic in every aspect of his life.
