Costs of living in the capital through the eyes of Anatoly Anatolich

A well-known Ukrainian presenter, Anatoly Anatolich, shared his own experience of financial management in Kyiv, telling how much it costs to support a family of five, including three children studying in private institutions. According to him, the monthly expenses of his family are approximately 203 thousand hryvnias or 5 thousand dollars.

Private education as the main cost factor

One of the biggest expenses of Anatoly's family is education. His daughters Alisa and Lolita, as well as his son Neil, study in private schools and kindergartens, for which about 110 thousand hryvnias are spent per month.

"My main expenses are the children, because they study in a private school and in a private kindergarten. And it is somewhere around UAH 110, 000 per month - kindergarten and school. Plus logistics, plus they eat a lot, plus I have to put them on."

Daily expenses: from clothes to logistics

Anatoly also mentioned that significant funds go to food, logistics and clothes for his children. However, the showman admitted that he spends almost nothing on his own wardrobe, since most of the things are given to him.

"I don't spend [on clothes] at all. Mecci t-shirt. It's expensive, by the way, branded. A gift. It cost $240 [UAH 9, 744], but it was given to me for my birthday. I wouldn't buy it. Sneakers, because that I am a New Balance ambassador, they cost me 250 euros [10.9 UAH] at a second-hand store in France. There were times when I went to France "Garmin Ukraine" company. I bought Palaroid glasses on OLX for UAH 600.

Is it really possible to save money in Kyiv?

The presenter noted that he is not too satisfied with the prices for living in the capital, but he tries not to save on important things for his family. In his opinion, funds should always circulate, so saving for a "dark day" is not his method.

"Accommodation prices in Kyiv, according to the presenter, do not suit him very much, "but it could have been worse." According to Anatolich, money always needs expenses and income, so saving for a "dark day" for him seems not an option."

The conclusion is clear: life in the capital of Ukraine for a family is quite an expensive affair. However, Anatoly Anatolich does not spare money for his children and believes that their future is worth every hryvnia.
