Antonio Lukic and Animagrad announced a new animated film "Our Fight"

The studio of the creators of the cartoon "Mavka. Forest Song" Animagrad and the Ukrainian director Antonio Lukich presented a new satirical animated film "Our Fight" at the international animation festival in Annecy. The German company Telescop Animation is engaged in the production of the film together with Animagrad.

Antonio Lukic in a new role

Antonio Lukic, known for his films "Luxembourg, Luxembourg" and "My Quiet Thoughts", will act as a creative producer. According to him, animation allows you to explore areas that cannot be reached by an ordinary camera, perfectly combining humor and irony.

"As a novice creative producer, I find great joy in this new role... I firmly believe that humor and irony are her natural language. The cartoon is ready to become a real sensation, " shared Lukic.

Plot and characters

The plot of "Our Fight" tells the story of 30-year-old gas station worker Serhii Punka, who gets a second chance at life after death. He needs to find someone who cares about him, and this journey leads him to search for his father. The creators of "Mavka" Konstantin Fedorov and Kristian Koskinen will share the director's chair.

Anna Eliseeva, the producer of the tape, emphasizes the importance of combining humor with social commentary in "Our Fight".

Animagrad's previous film "Mavka. Forest Song" set a box office record among Ukrainian films, collecting over UAH 81 million in three weekends of release. Such successes of Ukrainian animation raise the bar for the studio's new projects, in particular for "Our Fight".
