Description of the location

Art Factory Platform is a modern creative entertainment and educational cluster with various locations. It seems as if there is not a single inhabitant of Kyiv who would not be here. But it was not always so. The Platform Art Factory began its history in 2013. It is located on the territory of the inactive Darnytsia silk factory named after Yaskov. The plant itself operated from 1947 to the 90s, then production on it was practically stopped. At the beginning of the 2000s, one of the shops at the Silk Factory received a second life - it was transformed into the Darynok shopping centre. And in 2013, the entire territory of the plant, with the help of the so-called industrial revitalization, turned into the Art Plant Platform. Revitalization - restoration and reorganization of non-functioning industrial buildings or industrial areas of the city.

The restoration of the ex-factory took about three million hryvnias. And the investments were made by the owner of City Capital Group, a businessman from Israel Ofer Kerzner. Its assets also include BAZAR on Lesnaya, LCD Park Avenue, Darynok shopping centre, Podol office centre and others.

The area of ​​the Art plant is 120 thousand square meters. There are indoor pavilions, coworking spaces and open-air locations. The former are ideal for exhibitions, master classes. The second is for work and business. Concerts, shows and parties are most often organized in open areas.

The first event that took place at the Platforma Art Factory was a street food festival.
