Bridgerton season four: New faces and dramatic twists

The new season of the series "Bridgertons" promises viewers even more intrigue, romance and new exciting characters.

New faces and characters

In the new season, viewers will get to know three new characters. Cathy Leung will play Lady Araminta Gan – a twice-widow who gives birth to her two daughters and feels the pressure of society regarding their marriage. Michelle Mao will appear as Rosamund Lee, the eldest daughter of Araminta, who seeks to win the heart of Benedict Bridgerton. Isabella Wei will play her younger sister Posie Lee – a kind and sincere but clumsy girl who rarely gets her mother's attention.

Romantic adventures of Benedict

The fourth season will focus on the second son of the Bridgerton family - Benedict played by Luke Thompson. Despite the fact that his brothers are already married, he was in no hurry to follow their example. However, everything changes after meeting the mysterious Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade. The role of Benedict's lover, Sophie Beck, will be played by Erin Ha.

Era reproduction

The filming of the series takes place in the newly built scenery at Shepperton Studios, where the architecture of the era of Georgian and Regency England was reproduced. Viewers will be able to enjoy realistic scenes in the houses, on the streets of Mayfair and other iconic places of London.

Showrunners and producers

Helmed by showrunner Jess Brownell, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica and Chris Van Dusen, the fourth season will consist of of eight episodes. The expectations of the audience are growing more and more – will Benedict be able to find his happiness?
