In a surprising turn of events, television host and showman Vyacheslav Solomka has openly criticized one of Ukraine's most celebrated pop icons, Tina Karol. Known for her powerful performances and commanding stage presence, Karol has long been a favorite in the music industry. However, Solomka suggests that her performances no longer hold the same spark.

A Dimming Star? Vyacheslav's Bold Claim

Solomka's recent comments have ignited a debate about the state of Tina Karol's artistry. He boldly stated that Karol has lost the "fire" that once made her performances a must-see event, captivating audiences nationwide. According to Solomka, this decline was particularly evident during a winter concert featuring both Karol and another vocal powerhouse, Zlata Ognevich.

"Tina Karol, in my subjective opinion, has started to degenerate, " Solomka remarked. "At the winter concert, Zlata Ognevich delivered a brilliant, explosive performance. When Tina followed her, it felt as if she was doing us a favor by being there. How can that be? As a prima, as a queen, you must always perform at your best."

The Rise of a New Queen?

Ognevich's performance apparently left a lasting impression on Solomka, who praised her ability to command the stage and connect with the audience. His remarks suggest a potential shift in the musical hierarchy, with Ognevich rising as a formidable contender.

Beyond just a critique, Solomka emphasized the responsibility of artists who see themselves as "above the stage." He reminded them that audiences are perceptive and can discern authenticity, dedication, and emotional depth.

"Some of our top artists, without realizing it, begin to cover themselves with mothballs, " he added. "They start to feel like queens or grandes dames, although the quality of what they do on stage no longer matches."

What Lies Ahead for Tina Karol?

Solomka's comments have undoubtedly stirred the pot in the Ukrainian music scene, raising questions about the future directions of both Karol and Ognevich. Will Tina reclaim her fiery essence, or is it Zlata's time to shine? Only time will tell.
