In the modern world of show business, where big money often dictates the conditions, there will be artists who choose a different path. Davyd Petrosyan, a famous Ukrainian theater director, refused to cooperate with many famous artists, in particular with Dmytro Monatik.

Why Petrosyan refused to cooperate with Monatik

Petrosyan shared his thoughts on the decision, noting that he cannot work on projects that do not align with his inner convictions, even if they offer significant financial rewards.

"I decided that this is not for me. I can't do this, no matter how much they pay. This direction, these people, their thinking... I thought: 'I'd rather be without money than go into this.'"

Collaboration with a famous singer who did not make it to the world

Although David once agreed to work with a famous singer, this project was never implemented. The director admitted that he changed his mind after talking with the artist's producer and decided not to continue cooperation.

"I had a conversation with her producer, but we didn't implement the project — I decided it wasn't for me."

Theater as a source of inspiration

Petrosyan explained that he is more attracted to the theater, where he can realize his art without compromise.

"It's not like that in the theater. Well, okay, I serve Shakespeare. But it's more fun than serving Monatik. You don't make all the money. In the theater, they pay too, though not like that."

Future plans and personal priorities

Davyd Petrosyan continues to work on theatrical productions, preferring art that corresponds to his inner convictions and philosophy. He remains true to his principles and chooses quality over quantity.
