Ahead of their 25th wedding anniversary, which the couple will celebrate on July 4, David recalled the moment he first saw the Spice Girls frontwoman on television.

"A few months before we met I was overseas with the England team. Gary Neville and I were in a hotel room and there was a video of the Spice Girls on. I pointed to the screen and said to him: 'This girl is for me and I'm going to get her. This was her eyes, her face. She's my idea of ​​perfection, '" Beckham recalls.

The couple first met in 1997, when Victoria came to watch a Manchester United match. Already in January 1998, a year after meeting, they announced their engagement.
