The first footage from the fifth season of "Strange Wonders" captivates fans
Netflix gave fans of Stranger Things a pleasant surprise by releasing the first footage from the set of the fifth season in honor of the eighth anniversary of the show's debut. The first episode of the series was released on July 15, 2016, and since then it has not stopped surprising and enthralling viewers around the world. The teaser appeared on the official YouTube page of the series, causing a wave of emotions among fans.
Big return of familiar locations and heroes
In the published video, viewers can see several familiar locations and main characters. The Duffer brothers, the creators of the show, showed what the process of creating the world-famous series looks like, including the equipment and scenery that usually remain behind the scenes.
"Glad to have scenes with the original four, " actor Finn Wolfhard hinted that the four curious characters, which include Mike, Lucas, Will and Dustin, may reunite in new episodes.
Changes of heroes: from childhood to adulthood
The teaser focuses on the change of the main characters over the course of five seasons. Fans get to see Millie Bobby Brown as a young child from the first series and the grown-up girl she is now.
"I started when I was ten years old. I recently turned twenty, " emphasizes the actress, talking about her growing up together with the characters of the series.
New faces and long episodes
Despite the fact that the fifth season of the series "Strange Wonders" will be the final, the cast will be replenished with new participants. Viewers will be able to see Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly and Alex Brough in upcoming episodes.
"Our showrunners, Matt and Ross Duffer, take on a lot of responsibility. They have a great writing team, but they're very involved. They write a lot, and they're very intense and serious about the quality of the continued writing, so it takes a long time to write each season, and a lot of time to shoot them, " said actress Maya Hawke.
Five seasons of expectations and hopes
The release date of the new season of "Strange Wonders" remains unknown, but there are speculations that the beloved characters will return to television screens in 2025.
