Dmytro Kolyadenko's Unique Way to Cope with War Stress: A Glass of Sparkling Wine
Dmytro Kolyadenko, a renowned Ukrainian choreographer and showman, has revealed his unique method for coping with the horrors of war: a glass of sparkling wine. In a candid interview, Kolyadenko shared that alcohol helps him distract from the ongoing conflict, providing a temporary escape from the harsh realities.
Coping with Stress Through Alcohol
Kolyadenko openly admitted that he turned to alcohol during difficult times in his personal life, particularly after breakups with his loved ones. "I used to drink several bottles of wine a day, " he confessed, adding that his favorite was Cahors wine, which often brought him to tears and helped release negative energy.
"I was very angry when both Olena Kolyadenko and Iryna Bilyk left me. I felt like a wolf. Women drove me crazy, " he explained.
A Glass of Sparkling Wine for a Better Mood
Nowadays, Kolyadenko still believes that alcohol can be a good way to lift one's spirits. "If there's Prosecco at a party, I'll gladly have a glass or two, maybe even three, " he mentioned, noting that champagne brings joy and allows him to momentarily forget about the ongoing war. He described it as a kind of "medicine" for stress.
"Champagne gives such a good mood, joy, and you can forget for a while that there is a war. It's a kind of 'medicine' for stress, " he added.
Moderation During War Times
Despite his occasional indulgence, Kolyadenko emphasized that he doesn't overdo it with alcohol during the war. When he does drink, he prefers to stay home and go to bed, finding solace in the ability to sleep through air raid sirens. "I am genuinely happy if I can sleep through the alarm in such a state, " he shared.
In conclusion, while Kolyadenko's method of coping with stress might not be conventional, it highlights the lengths to which individuals go to find moments of peace and normalcy amid chaos. His story serves as a reminder of the human need for small comforts in trying times.
