Ukrainian actor Dmytro Stupka, who is known for his roles in his homeland, revealed his plans for the future. In the fall of 2021, he moved to the United States together with his then wife and daughter. But does he intend to return to Ukraine?

Discovery of a new life

Dmytro admitted that his heart will always belong to Ukraine. He has been building a career in his native country for years and is not ready to break this connection. However, given his separation from his wife, who stayed in the US with their daughter, he plans to live in two countries.

"I understand that my daughter will live here, because her mother already has her own business, her own life. And I have no right to take the child away from her mother. Therefore, God willing, the war will end, I will live in two countries, " - said the actor.

Plans for the future

Dmytro shared his hopes for the end of the war and a return to normal life in Ukraine. He dreams of returning to the acting work he left in Kyiv and seeing his beloved audience again. The stage and the audience are what he misses the most.

"I really miss Kyiv, my friends, my relatives, my profession. Of course, I see how well everything is going in the theater, what the queues are for tickets. I miss it, because I really love the audience, the stage, " says Stupka.

Changes in the actor's life

After the start of the war in Ukraine, Dmytro planned to return home, but the sky was closed. After some time in Europe, he returned to the US to be closer to his daughter. His story shows how difficult it is to divide life between two countries, but also that love for one's profession and loved ones can help overcome any difficulties.
