Olena Grebenyuk, a renowned opera singer with a legacy spanning 25 years at the Kyiv Opera, recently opened up about her 16-year-old daughter Elizaveta's unconventional career decisions, which have left many intrigued.

A New Path at Just 14

At the tender age of 14, Elizaveta found her passion not in the pages of textbooks but in the rich aroma of coffee beans. Her journey began when she attended a barista course, igniting a dedication that has overshadowed her academic pursuits.

"My daughter is quite a picky child, " Grebenyuk shared with a smile. "She doesn't want to study, but she knows it's necessary. She found her path, and I'm not opposing it."

From Stage to Cafe

While her mother performed on the grand stages of the opera, Elizaveta crafted her own stage behind a coffee counter. Her commitment is evident as she continues to work diligently, mastering the craft of coffee-making while attending college "just for show, " as her mother describes.

"She finished 9th grade and chose her path, " Olena added. "Now, she wants to open her café. She's knowledgeable and it's transformed her into a different person."
