"Inside Out 2" officially became the biggest box office hit among animated films, surpassing even the legendary "Frozen 2".

New Pixar record

The cartoon "Thinking Inside Out 2", created by the Pixar studio, has collected 1.468 billion dollars since its release. Thus, it surpassed the previous record holder, "Frozen 2", which earned $1.45 billion in 2019. The global box office total was $601 million in the US and $861 million internationally.

Magical emotions and stellar voice

The tape continues the story about the life of emotions that live in the mind of a teenage girl. "Thinking Inside Out 2" won the hearts of the audience thanks to the good reputation of the first film, which was released in 2015, as well as the stellar response. Four sectors of the audience: children, teenagers, adults and the elderly, found something special in this animation.

"This is not just a cartoon, but a real emotional attraction, " critics comment.

Displacing "Dune 2"

It is interesting that "Thinking Inside Out 2" also managed to displace Denis Villeneuve's "Dune 2", which until recently was the world box office leader with 711 million dollars.

Phenomenal success

Such resounding success was made possible by a combination of high ratings, positive reviews and a huge fan base. This cartoon not only exceeded expectations, but also set a new bar for animated films around the world.

"We always believed in this story, but we couldn't even imagine that it would reach such heights, " one of the producers noted.

Results and forecasts

Thanks to this success, we can expect that Pixar will continue to create the same emotionally charged and commercially successful projects. Viewers are looking forward to new stories that will transport them to an exciting world of emotions and experiences.
