Jamala, a famous Ukrainian singer, People's Artist of Ukraine and mother of three children, recently spoke on Instagram about her decision to give birth at home, in Ukraine, despite all the difficulties.

Jamala explained that she decided to give birth in Ukraine to show that life goes on even in the most difficult times.

"There is no louder declaration that life goes on than pregnancy. There is no song like it, no summit like it."

Says the singer, emphasizing her confidence in the chosen path.

During pregnancy, Jamala did not stop her concert tours, visiting Australia, America, Canada and European countries. She held charity concerts, raising funds for schools and Ukrainian defenders.

- recalls the artist. She also admitted that she experienced terrible toxicosis in the first three months of pregnancy, which did not make her task any easier.

Jamala also told how on the first morning after giving birth, while nursing her newborn son Alim, she heard an air raid alarm. It scared her, but it also gave her a sense of overwhelming power.

"With a baby on your chest, you feel more vulnerable, but at the same time - ready to tear anyone for your baby, "

- she added.
