Jamala on her third child and the challenges of wartime motherhood
Folk artist Jamala, known for being candid with her Instagram followers, recently opened up about the challenges she faces after giving birth to her third child. In May of this year, Jamala became a mother for the third time, giving the world a wonderful boy named Alim.
Challenges of motherhood during the war
Jamala frankly shares that motherhood in the conditions of war has become much more difficult. She notes that when her older sons were small, she easily took them on tour with her. But now, in new realities, it has become almost impossible.
"After the birth of Alim, the question is to be or not to be. Or more precisely, to refuse the concerts that were already planned or not? To work, or to completely put everything on hold?" Jamala thinks.
Changes in the singer's life
Jamala emphasizes that it is important for women to be fulfilled and have their own affairs or hobbies in order to feel happy. She notes that she supports breastfeeding, but sometimes she is forced to feed the baby with milk formula. The artist does not hesitate to ask for help when necessary.
Support of Ukrainian athletes
Despite the difficulties, Jamala continues to actively support her native country. She recently traveled to Paris with her baby to support Ukrainian athletes at the Olympic Games. In her post on Instagram, the singer touchingly thanked the entire team, emphasizing the importance of their achievements for Ukraine.
