Jesse Eisenberg: from an actor to a director with Ukrainian roots

Jesse Eisenberg, known for his role as Mark Zuckerberg in the movie "The Social Network", continues to surprise the world with his versatility. Actor, director, writer – these titles are already part of his biography, but the Hollywood star, apparently, does not plan to stop there.

From the stage to the big screen

Eisenberg, born into a Jewish family with Ukrainian-Polish roots, grew up in New Jersey, where he became interested in the theater from childhood. The stage became his refuge from shyness, helping to find himself and open the way to an acting career.

"Playing a role makes me feel more comfortable than I do in real life, " Jesse admits.

Impressive film debut

Eisenberg's first steps on the big screen began with the youth series "Be yourself". Since then, his career has been on the upswing, gaining recognition for roles in films such as Welcome to Zombieland and The Social Network. Irony of fate – playing the founder of Facebook, he himself does not have an account in this social network.

New horizons: director and playwright

2022 was a landmark year for Jesse, as he made his directorial debut with When You're Done Saving the World. This project was presented at such prestigious film festivals as Cannes and Sundance. Eisenberg is also actively writing – his plays are successful in New York theaters, and prose works are becoming popular among readers.

Personal life: from novels to family happiness

There were various novels in Eisenberg's life, but he gave his heart to Anna Strout, with whom they had a son in 2016. "We say goodbye to meet again", perhaps these words became a symbol of their renewed relationship.
