Johnny Depp Returns to Directing with Modi Biopic

American actor Johnny Depp makes a triumphant return to directing with a new biographical film "Modi" dedicated to the Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. This is one of Depp's first major projects after years of litigation with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Recently it became known that Depp rejected the offer to star in the sixth part of "Pirates of the Caribbean". Sources say he permanently severed ties with Disney after the company pulled the plug on him in 2018.
