"Emily in Paris" is back: what's in store for the new season?

The streaming giant Netflix finally pleased its fans with the first part of the 4th season of the popular show "Emily in Paris". The premiere took place on August 15 and immediately won the hearts of the audience, rising to the top of the rating of the most popular premieres in Ukraine.

New season: drama, romance and travel

In the new series, the main character Emily, played by Lily Collins, continues to have a complicated relationship with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Camila (Camille Razat). Sylvie (Filipina Leroy-Beaulieu) tries to save her marriage, and Mindy (Ashley Park) prepares for Eurovision with the band. The showrunner Darren Starr took the director's chair of the final episode.

"Emily has a busy travel schedule in season four. From the French Alps to Roman squares, viewers will see new amazing places through Emily's eyes, " said Starr.

Unexpected characters and guest stars

To support the intrigue, the authors of the series will introduce several new characters. Eugenio Franceschini will play Marcello, a native of Rome, and Anna Galiena will play Antonia, his influential mother. Thalia Besson will play Genevieve, Laurent's daughter, who recently moved from New York to Paris. Rupert Everett will add his charisma by playing Giorgio Barbieri, the owner of an international company.

When to wait for the second part of the season?

For fans who can't wait for the sequel, good news: the second part of season 4, consisting of 5 episodes, will be released on September 12. All episodes will be available at the same time, which will allow you to immerse yourself in Emily's new adventures without delay.

Will there be a fifth season?

Although there are no official announcements from Netflix yet, there are several indirect hints that "Emily in Paris" may get a sequel. At the amfAR event in Cannes, it was announced that a cameo in a possible fifth season will be auctioned off.

"Great characters on a great show are the ones I have a hard time letting go of. As Sex and the City shows, they always take you to different places, " shared Darren Starr.
