Fima Konstantinovsky shares his emotions at the beginning of the war

The famous Ukrainian TV presenter and former participant of the "League of Laughter" show Fima Konstantinovsky spoke about his feelings and experiences during the first days of the war. The artist recalled how Ukrainians united at this critical moment and shared his experience in an interview on the "Ze Interviewer" channel on YouTube.

Refusing to go abroad: the choice to stay

Fima Konstantinovsky admitted that in the first days of the war, many of his acquaintances suggested leaving Ukraine. However, the presenter could not imagine his life without relatives and friends abroad.

"I want to be like everyone else. How will my friends be if I leave - they will stay. It was absolutely impossible for me, " Fima shares.

The first days of the war: shelter and solidarity

The artist also recalled how he was hiding in a shelter with other Kyivites during the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. He was with his four-legged friend, Joe the Labrador, and strangers came to their aid.

"We met strangers at the bus stop who recognized me, and they gave my Joe some food. It's so cool, because no one knew what was coming next, and complete strangers helped me, " says Konstantinovsky.

Finding a safe place: community help

Fima also recalled looking for a place to stay with families with young children through a dog-owning community in one of the capital's districts. One of its participants lodged Fima's friends with his relative. This incredible solidarity of Ukrainians became a key moment in his memories.
