In an unprecedented twist of fate, celebrated actor Harik Bircha, known for his comedic roles, has taken on a new role that no script could have predicted. With the onset of a full-scale Ukrainian invasion, Bircha has traded the limelight for a different kind of staging ground—the battlefield.

Creativity as a Soldier's Weapon

Bircha's artistic spirit remains unbroken, even amidst the chaos of war. His knack for storytelling and humor now serves a different purpose—uplifting the spirits of his fellow soldiers.

"When a moment of calm appears, I write new texts that bring strength and faith to our boys, " he shares.

Finding New Inspiration Amidst Conflict

Serving in the 210th Separate Assault Battalion in Kurshchyna, Bircha's duties extend beyond the battlefield. His time in the military has become a wellspring of inspiration for his creativity.

"My service here is a great responsibility but also a profound school of life, " he reflects.

Bircha's unit has already made significant strides, having neutralized over 50 adversaries, a testament to their resolve and dedication.

Dreams of a Triumphant Return to the Stage

Despite the trials of military service, Bircha dreams of returning to his art. He longs for the day when he can once again embrace the stage, his audience, and the craft that defines him.

"I miss the stage, acting, and my audience, " he confesses.

For now, his primary focus is victory and peace on Ukrainian soil—a dramatic and inspiring backdrop for future performances.
