Have you ever wondered where the charismatic host of "Karaoke on the Square", Igor Kondratyuk, is right now? The celebrated producer has taken his iconic entertainment format across the Atlantic, breathing new life into it during a challenging period.

A New Stage for an Iconic Show

This summer, Kondratyuk embarked on an ambitious journey to the United States, where he organized an event aimed at supporting Ukrainian defenders. The event featured prominent figures such as Mykola Melnyk from the 47th Brigade "Mahura", Oleksandr Chumak from the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, and Andrii Shulha from the 23rd Brigade.

Controversial Location Sparks Debate

However, not everything went smoothly. The choice of location, "St. Petersburg, " raised eyebrows and sparked a flurry of comments on Instagram under Igor's post.

"Why are we there? What about love for the Motherland? It's easy to love from afar."

Some questioned the authenticity of patriotic sentiments, while others suggested financial motives behind the event.

A Quick Return and New Ventures

Despite the criticism, Kondratyuk didn't linger in the US for long. He recently announced he's working on a documentary about the formation and combat history of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. This endeavor marks a new chapter in his career, blending entertainment with poignant storytelling.

A Personal Journey Amidst Conflict

It's worth remembering that in 2022, Kondratyuk's house suffered damage in the conflict near Hostomel and Bucha. Luckily, he and his family had evacuated beforehand and returned after the area was liberated.

Kondratyuk's efforts to keep the spirit of "Karaoke on the Square" alive, even amidst political and personal challenges, highlight his resilience and dedication to his craft.
