Singer Iryna Fedyshyn, known for her charity concerts, got into an unpleasant situation during a tour in the USA and Canada. 37-year-old native of Lviv almost missed her performance in Canadian Calgary due to a canceled flight.

Unforeseen situation in Toronto

On Friday, June 7, Iryna and her team were to perform in Calgary. However, when they were in Toronto, they learned about the cancellation of the flight. Fedyshyn shared the details of the incident on her social networks:

"We got to the hotel late, at 02: 00: while we gathered, while we packed and weighed all the suitcases. And already in the morning at 05: 00 we have check-in for the plane in Calgary. We barely woke up and headed to the airport. But on the way we found out that the flight was cancelled."

Shock and the search for alternatives

Irina's team had tickets for a flight at 10: 00 p.m., while the concert was supposed to start at 7: 00 p.m. local time. This meant that they would not have time for the performance. Fedyshyn and her team spent the whole morning looking for alternative tickets.

Fortunately, they managed to find a flight that left at 12: 40. Irina emphasized her happiness and relief:

"We spent the whole morning looking for tickets. And luckily, at 12: 40 we fly out to Calgary."
