Ivanna Onufriichuk's New Life: From TV Host to Humanitarian in Switzerland

In a world where change is the only constant, Ivanna Onufriichuk's journey from a television host to a humanitarian is nothing short of inspiring. Caught between two nations, Ivanna had long been accustomed to balancing her life between Ukraine and Switzerland. However, the escalation of conflict in Ukraine in 2022 prompted her to root herself more firmly in the Swiss Alps.

From Television Screens to Humanitarian Dreams

Ivanna's transition from the glamorous world of television to humanitarian work was driven by her desire to make a tangible difference. In Switzerland, she set up a charity focused on supporting mothers and children who have been displaced by conflict. As Ivanna herself puts it:

"I am more useful here now, with my family and my husband, serving those who need us."

Her commitment to her cause has seen her step back from her television career, at least for the moment. Although opportunities in Ukraine still beckon, logistics and safety concerns make it difficult for her to return frequently.

A New Chapter in Personal Life

Away from her professional endeavors, Ivanna's personal life has also blossomed. In 2021, she married Almaz, a Kazakh millionaire, in a series of dazzling ceremonies that spanned from the idyllic beaches of the Maldives to the bustling cityscapes of Kyiv. Despite Almaz's concerns about her travels to Ukraine, Ivanna's heart remains firmly tied to her homeland.

In May, Ivanna embraced motherhood with the birth of her son, Adam, who has since been granted Ukrainian citizenship, a fact she proudly shares:

"Officially: another little Ukrainian. Adam is now a citizen of Ukraine and even has his own passport!"

The Road Ahead

As Ivanna navigates her new life, her focus remains on the future. She plans to expand her charity work by opening children’s centers to provide displaced youth with the childhood they deserve. Though she misses Ukraine, Ivanna is committed to her work in Switzerland until it's safe to return.
