The great world of music sometimes hides no less great love stories. Sofia Rotaru and her younger sister Aurika Rotaru have lived lives worthy of a movie script.

Sofia Rotaru, a famous singer and favorite of millions, met her husband Anatoly Yevdokymenko thanks to a journalistic cover. As in the most romantic stories, a look at a photo of a young actress prompted him to take a decisive step. At first it was just a dream, but after two years of persistence, Anatoly managed to win Sofia's heart. Their marriage lasted 34 happy years, during which their son Ruslan was born and the "Chervona Ruta" ensemble was created.

"I saw her and realized that it was mine, " Anatoly recalled.

Tragic events and loyalty to the end

In the late 1990s, Anatoly's health was severely tested. Strokes took away strength one after another. In 2002, after the third blow, his life's journey ended. Sofia remained faithful to the memories of him, not giving up a place in her heart to anyone else.

Sister loyalty: Aurika and Volodymyr

Aurika Rotaru had a similar story. Volodymyr Pigach, falling in love at first sight, quickly confessed to her. Their life was full of harmony, until in 2005 a tragedy destroyed family happiness. Volodymyr, never complaining about his health, unexpectedly died of a stroke.

"Such a person cannot be found again, " Aurika laments, remaining loyal to him even after death.
