Ivan Dorn on mobilization: why does the singer not return to Ukraine?

Ivan Dorn, a famous Ukrainian singer who won hearts with his unique style and charisma, revealed some details of his life abroad. After February 24, 2022, the artist did not return to Ukraine, choosing Paris as his new home. In a new interview for the Kazakh podcast on YouTube channel Dope Zos, 35-year-old Ivan shared his thoughts on mobilization and life outside the Motherland.

Since the full-scale war, Ivan has not visited Kyiv and Ukraine in general. The presenters of the Kazakh podcast asked if it was difficult for him to get to his native country.

"It's not difficult to get there, it's not difficult, no problems. But it will be more difficult to return when you're a boy from 18 to 60 years old who falls under the mobilization. You see, I'm in Ukraine not often, so I'm not used to saying this word. La mobilization, " he jokes Dorn.

Support of Ukraine from abroad

Despite his absence from Ukraine, the singer emphasizes his support for the Ukrainian people. Ivan noted that he always and everywhere retains the identity of a Ukrainian artist, regardless of where he is.

"But at the same time, with its own narrative, with its own context, freedom-loving, " concludes the singer.
