Kolya Serga revealed why Ukrainians have not forgiven Svitlana Loboda
The famous Ukrainian musician Kolya Serga, ex-host of the "Eagle and Tail" program and an active participant in "Cultural Landing", recently shared his opinion about singer Svitlana Loboda. The artist is convinced that she did not do enough to win the forgiveness of Ukrainians.
Why haven't Ukrainians forgiven Svitlana Loboda?
Kolya Serga noted in an interview that Loboda, who has been performing in Russia for a long time, made a serious mistake by humiliating a Ukrainian girl with a poster "Kharkiv without Loboda". This moment became a turning point for her career in Ukraine.
"The country did not push her out, the country showed her the current state of affairs, " comments Serga.
Serga emphasizes that Loboda could not give up her ego, which prevented her from accepting the new reality and taking the necessary steps to regain the trust of Ukrainians.
Ego and its role in returning to the stage
The musician emphasizes that in order to be accepted into Ukrainian society again, it is necessary to sacrifice one's ego. Svetlana Loboda was not ready for this sacrifice.
"She saw the price that had to be paid for mistakes, and she didn't agree with that price."
Ukrainians are ready to forgive, but action is needed
Serga also notes that Ukrainians know how to forgive, but for this it is necessary to take real steps, and not just demonstrate a desire to change.
"Actually, Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, people, they know how to forgive. But in order to be forgiven, you need to ask for forgiveness. And ask for it not as if you wanted to do it, but as it will work."
Unsuccessful return attempt
Loboda tried to return to Ukraine, visiting the military and conducting charity performances. However, this was not enough to atone for Ukrainian society. Currently, she speaks abroad and runs social networks in Russian, which also causes negative reactions.
Summing up, Kolya Serga expressed the opinion that Svitlana Loboda should make much more effort so that Ukrainians could forgive her. Time will tell if she can accept this challenge and change her attitude.
