Christopher Lee returns his voice in The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim

It would seem that after his death in 2015, we will no longer hear his characteristic timbre performance, but Phillippa Boyens, the producer of the project, decided otherwise. She noted that the decision to take this step arose after reading a letter Lee left before his death.

"Kronke said that Sir Christopher himself would have wanted it, " Boyens admitted, emphasizing the importance of this event.

They were able to integrate some of Lee's lines from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, including the scene with Galadriel.
