Lesia Nikitiuk, a well-known television presenter, recently sent waves through her fanbase with an unexpected announcement. The star is departing from the beloved entertainment show "Who is on Top?", which she has been hosting for five dynamic seasons.

Nikitiuk took to Instagram, the platform where she often shares glimpses of her life, to announce her departure. Reflecting on her journey, she recalled her initial partnership with co-host Serhii Prytula and later working alongside blogger Bogdan Bushe in the most recent 12th season.

"Maybe it's my turn to leave the project. No, I'm not tired of TV, it's my favorite job. But everything changes, people around you change, you change, your goals and desires change, " she stated with a contemplative tone.

Embracing Change and New Beginnings

As she confessed, Nikitiuk had been preparing for this moment, recognizing that her time on the show was drawing to a close. Despite her significant impact and popularity on the show, she believes it's time to move forward. Her acknowledgment of the show's success, with its consistently high ratings, highlights her respect for the opportunity it provided new stars in Ukrainian showbiz and the joy it brought to audiences with its humor, competitions, and costumes.

"I don't want to play with your feelings because 'Who is on Top?' still has the highest ratings. It's fun, dynamic, and very beautiful. It allows new stars of Ukrainian showbiz to show themselves. But with each passing year, life and circumstances increasingly lead me to the decision to leave the show 'Who is on Top?'. I don't know when it will happen, but it will inevitably happen, " Nikitiuk noted thoughtfully.

The Last Season and Beyond

On her YouTube channel, Nikitiuk shared a brief film showcasing behind-the-scenes moments from the latest season and elaborated on her path through the show. In the video's caption, she initially stated that this season would be her last, although she later edited this part out.

"This is my last season in this project. I am infinitely grateful to viewers for your support, to the team for the inspiration, and to the format for these incredible years! The end of this stage is the beginning of something new. Thank you for being with me, " Nikitiuk expressed with gratitude.
