Linkin Park is back with a new vocalist: Who is Emily Armstrong?
Linkin Park has officially announced its triumphant return with a new vocalist and first song in 7 years. Emily Armstrong, a native of Los Angeles, became the new voice of the band, replacing the legendary Chester Bennington.
A new beginning for Linkin Park
After the tragedy that befell the band in 2017, the world did not expect such a comeback. At a live performance on September 5 in Los Angeles, Linkin Park presented their first music release in 7 years. Emily Armstrong, who founded the band Dead Sara, joined the team and has already won the hearts of fans.
"It was unforgettable. Emily brought a new energy and atmosphere that we have been waiting for so long, " shared one of the audience after the concert.
Outlook and plans: new album and world tour
The musicians also announced a new album called From Zero, which will premiere on November 15. The main song of the album, The Emptiness Machine, has already gained popularity - the clip for it has gained more than 1.3 million views on YouTube in 6 hours.
Behind the Scenes Secrets: Who Is Emily Armstrong?
Emily Armstrong is no stranger to the music industry. Her band, Dead Sara, opened for Muse, although they never achieved the popularity of Linkin Park. Since childhood, the singer dreamed of a career as a rock musician and even left high school for this. Her voice and energy have already won over both new and old fans of the band.
New members and updated lineup
In addition to Emily, a new drummer - songwriter and producer Colin Brittain - joined the band. Along with old members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix and Joe Hahn, they will embark on a six-date world tour that will take in Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul and Bogotá.
The return of Linkin Park with new members and fresh material promises a lot of fun for fans of the band. Everyone is looking forward to the premiere of the album and future concerts.
