The bands adm: t and Tember Blanche surprised the music world with a new collaboration, presenting the song "metamorphosin". This track became special, because its text is based on a poem by the dead poet-warrior Maksym Kryvtsov.

Memory of the poet-hero through music

Maksym Kryvtsov, who was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity and a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, left a legacy in the form of poetic lines. His creativity found a second life in a new song by young Ukrainian musicians.

The frontman of the adm: t band Andriy Dmytrenko met the musicians of Tember Blanche back in 2021 at the Koktebel Jazz Fest. This acquaintance became the beginning of their collaboration, the culmination of which was the song "metamorphosin".

Light summer atmosphere contrary to the name

Although the title of the track may evoke associations with autumn, it is actually filled with a light summer mood. The song, like a fresh breath on the sea breeze, gives a feeling of carefreeness and warmth.

"When I finished writing the music and the melody of the words, I sent it to Vlad Lagoda, they liked it. Later, in their home studio, we recorded all the parts. The full version of the single was made by Taras Pidkuymukha, who has been working on mixing and mastering the band's tracks since during the second EP "in a square", Andriy Dmytrenko noted.

Historical heritage and modern creativity

Maksym Kryvtsov was not only a participant in the Revolution of Dignity, but also joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014. His life was full of struggle for freedom and independence. After full-scale war broke out, he returned to service, but was sadly killed earlier this year.

His collection "Poems from the Pit" became one of the best books of Ukrainian poetry in 2023 according to the Ukrainian PEN. This book, like his poetic legacy, found a response in the hearts of many people.

An inspiring collaboration

The single "metamorphosin" became a symbol of memory and respect for Maksym Kryvtsov and his work. The musicians of the bands adm: t and Tember Blanche have proven that modern music can be a powerful tool for preserving cultural heritage and reflecting historical events.
