Today's creative director of Louis Vuitton, Pharrel Williams, perfectly combined innovation and tradition. He, together with NIGO and Marc Jacobs, who created the original models in 2004, brought a fresh perspective to the design.
"These glasses have always been a symbol of luxury and style. We wanted to preserve that heritage while adding modern touches, " said Williams.
Classics and innovations: Two new models
The updated line includes two models: 1.0 and 3.0. Model 1.0 maintains a classic look, showcasing a luxurious aviator silhouette with signature Louis Vuitton details. Old gold metal strips with a Monogram pattern emphasize the sharp lines of the eyebrows, while the enamel hinges with an S-shaped lock add a vintage charm. This model is available in two options: chocolate tortoise with gradient lenses and turquoise blue hinges or solid black.
Model 3.0 represents a more modern approach to design using innovative materials. The glasses are made from lightweight carbon fiber commonly used in premium cars, offering a combination of durability and style. This model features sleek silver hinges with LV engraving and metallic damask stripes on the upper. The glasses are available in two options: bold black with bright orange lenses or a more understated solid black that reflects cutting-edge fashion.
