Bratz dolls revive the style of the 70s: Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars in a new clip

Recently, Bratz dolls decided to surprise their fans by recreating the images of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars from their new music video. With the new song "Die With a Smile", which is the first collaboration between the artists after a long hiatus, the dolls radiate the true spirit of 70s country music.

A new take on the country ballad

The dolls are dressed in red and blue costumes that emphasize the aesthetics of the clip. Bruno Mars on the doll wears a cowboy hat, and Lady Gaga has a lush hairstyle. This country ballad, although inspired by the style of the 70s, contains elements that make it similar to Mars' previous work, including soaring vocals and a powerful chorus.

Unexpected collaboration

"I've been missing these unexpected collaborations that were popular in the 2010s. It's the same vibes and I'm here for it, " a YouTube user captioned the new clip.

The song begins with a solo performance by Bruno Mars, and in the second verse he is joined by Lady Gaga, creating a harmonious combination of voices.

Historical context

The first line of the chorus evokes associations with the famous composition "If the World Was Ending" by JP Saxe feat. Julia Michaels, however, the content of the song "Die With a Smile" is more optimistic, talking about bright and boundless love. The phrase "Die With a Smile" is reminiscent of the legendary song "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" by The Smiths, in which the hero sings about the heavenly way of dying next to a loved one.

Influence on modern fashion

For Lady Gaga, this is not the first case of cooperation with Bratz. The company previously released a doll with her famous quote "No sleep, bus, club, another club". Although this quote was said several years ago, it is still relevant today.

Further creative plans

In addition to working with Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga recently performed at the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris and took part in the filming of the Joker sequel, which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
