Madonna, the legendary American singer, once again demonstrated her social consciousness by publicly supporting the Peace Summit in Switzerland. The singer used her Instagram to draw attention to the importance of the event dedicated to ending Russia's war against Ukraine.

Support for Ukrainian children

In her address, Madonna especially emphasized the problem of the forced deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia. She recalled that more than 19, 000 children need to return home, stressing that world leaders must unite to solve this issue.

"I stand for peace for all children everywhere. All over the world. And I will never stop!"

Peace Summit

Madonna also drew attention to the fact that world leaders will gather in Switzerland on June 15 to discuss ways to end the conflict in Ukraine. The peace summit will provide a platform to discuss issues related to the return of children, as well as other critical aspects of the humanitarian crisis.

Global problem

The singer noted that Ukraine is not the only country where children suffer. She gave examples of countries such as Israel, Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Nigeria, Congo and Malawi. According to her, the world may have different opinions on many issues, but it should be unanimous on the issue of child protection.

"The world may not agree on many issues, but it must agree that these children must be protected."

Conclusions

Once again, Madonna demonstrates that she does not remain aloof from important global issues. Her appeal has undoubtedly drawn the attention of millions of fans and world leaders to the crisis, which needs immediate intervention. The peace summit in Switzerland can be a decisive step in resolving this humanitarian disaster.
