The star shared photos with her adopted children with her followers, celebrating the double holiday of US Independence Day and the anniversary of her recovery from the bacterial infection that almost took her life last year.

"Happy 4th of July! A year ago today, I just got home from the hospital after being so sick I could barely stand in my backyard. I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year. Thank you, God. Life is beautiful!" Madonna said.
