Victor Pavlik's Heart Surgery and Family Drama: A Tale of Love and Challenges

Victor Pavlik, the 58-year-old Ukrainian singer, recently underwent a complex heart surgery, with his current wife Kateryna Repyakhova by his side. This event sheds light on the couple's love story and the challenges they face together.

A Surprising Romance

In the spring of 2019, fans were shocked to learn that after 25 years of marriage with his third wife, Larysa Sozaeva, Pavlik moved on with his much younger concert director, Kateryna Repyakhova. Despite their 29-year age gap, their relationship blossomed. Kateryna's admiration for Pavlik began in her childhood, and their paths crossed again when she presented him with a bouquet at a concert.

From Secret to Public

Their romance was kept under wraps for four years. However, a concert booking mistake revealed their relationship when an agency booked a single room for both of them. Pavlik then confessed to Sozaeva that his feelings had changed, leading to a public separation.

"I was a bad father. Always on tour, I didn't see or raise my children, " Pavlik admitted in a 2021 interview. "I feel that they were deprived of a father's presence."

Building a New Family

In May 2020, Pavlik and Repyakhova secretly married during the difficult period of Pavlik's son Pavlo battling cancer. By June 2021, they welcomed their son, Mykhailo. The first month was challenging, and Kateryna's mother, almost Pavlik's age, stepped in to help.

"I am still getting used to it. Experiencing incredible emotions: tenderness and anxiety at the same time, " Pavlik shared.

Navigating Challenges

The age gap presents its own set of challenges. Pavlik admits they argue, but Kateryna's wisdom often prevails. Their mutual love for work unites them, as Kateryna manages Pavlik's concerts and her own blogging career.

"We consult each other. Katya doesn't speak in a commanding tone. She knows it doesn't work with me, " Pavlik explained. "Her youthful energy gives me strength and energy."

Despite the hurdles, their bond remains strong. Kateryna views Pavlik as her reliable support, and even if their paths diverge, she believes they will remain good friends.
