Maria Yaremchuk reveals the secrets of filming a biographical film about her father

Ukrainian singer Maria Yaremchuk, who recently completed work on a biographical film about her legendary father called "Yaremchuk: The Incomparable World of Beauty", shared with us incredible behind-the-scenes secrets of filming.

The first difficulties on the way to making a film

In the process of working on the film, Maria faced a number of challenges, but the biggest obstacle was the refusal of famous personalities who knew her father personally. Sofia Rotaru, one of the most famous Ukrainian singers, was unavailable for an interview. Maria tried to contact her son, but the answer was negative.

"I invited Sofia Mykhailivna, talked to her son. However, we did not receive a favorable response, I don't know for what reasons."

Refusal of stars

Not only Sofia Rotaru refused to participate in the film. Singer Vasyl Zinkevich, who does not want to appear in public, and Levko Dutkivskyi also refused. Maria said that Levko Tarasovych did not want to act because of his health.

"I spoke with Levko Tarasovych Dutkivsky for hours on the phone. He told me all the stories and I asked him: 'Come on, tell us this on camera, we'll confirm everything with you.' And he says: 'No, I'm very emotional, I don't you can worry, the state of health will not allow'."

Premiere and future prospects

The film "Yaremchuk: The Incomparable World of Beauty" has already started in cinemas since August 8 and aroused considerable interest among the audience. Maria admits that, despite the difficulties, making the film was an important stage in her life.
