Masha Kondratenko: music, school and love of the French language
Ukrainian singer Masha Kondratenko recently opened up about her school life, talking about how her love of music influenced her studies.
Music was more important than lessons
Masha admitted that she often skipped school due to participation in competitions and concerts. However, she emphasizes that those years remained warm memories for her.
"I have only the most pleasant memories from junior high school. When we had a graduation after the 4th grade, I cried throughout the concert and sang songs through tears, because I didn't want to move on to another school, " the singer shares.
Special teachers — special lessons
Most of all, Masha loved the French language lessons taught by Marina Yuryivna Kozyulina. The teacher not only taught her pronunciation and melodies, but also became a true friend.
"I had a wonderful teacher whom I loved very much. In addition, we both played in the theater and we had a lot to talk about even apart from the lessons - it was she who instilled in me a love for the French language and we still communicate. Marina Yuriivna Kozyulina - lav! " Masha adds.
Special skills for a music career
Constantly missing lessons due to musical performances helped Masha to develop communication and self-management skills. She learned to ask for late tests and turn in assignments a little later.
"I missed a lot of classes because of my performances, competitions and concerts. Of course, I studied, I was almost an excellent student, but the skills of asking for some delayed tests, to pass something a little later, helped me a lot. Thank you to my teachers for the wonderful school years that I I remember with a smile! Sometimes I really want to go back to that time, " concludes the star.
Masha Kondratenko emphasizes that her school years were not only learning, but also a time when she was able to determine her path in life and find real friends.
