The well-known Ukrainian presenter and blogger Masha Efrosinina left for Poland with her family after the start of the war. However, she recently told why she could not stay abroad and why she decided to return home. These confessions were made in her own podcast "Ticket to Mars" on YouTube.

Life outside of Ukraine: challenges and disappointments

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Efrosinina, together with her mother, eldest daughter Nana and son Oleksandr left for Poland. But even abroad, the star did not sit idly by. She actively participated in public events in Germany and Poland, collecting money for the rehabilitation of women who suffered from the war.

"Abroad, I feel like I'm dead. I physically don't understand how to move, " Masha Yefrosinina frankly admitted.

Difficult weekdays of public activity in Europe

While abroad, Efrosinina often encountered troubles. She said that for the first six months she felt like a "monkey" trying to convey important things to European society. But in fact, at that time it was fashionable to invite Ukrainians to events, and often she was not even transferred the promised amounts of aid. Such cases involved tens of thousands of euros.

Returning to Ukraine: a decision from the heart

After the broadcast time on German radio was reduced from 40 minutes to two due to a decrease in the rating, Masha realized that she was not given the opportunity to speak about the war in Ukraine. Then she decided it was time to go home. For a long time, the star lived in two countries, but now she took her son Oleksandr from Poland and returned to Kyiv.

"Despite the rocket attacks on the capital and my son's great fear, I do not consider myself a bad mother, " says Yefrosinina.

Further plans and perspectives

Masha Efrosinina continues to be an active public figure and does not plan to stop. She is sure that her place is in Ukraine, where she can make the greatest contribution to the struggle for freedom and the future of her country.
