"MasterChef" winner Valeriya Matrokhina has a new "baby"!

Valeria Matrokhina, the winner of the popular cooking show "MasterChef", together with her beloved Kostyantyn Gordienko, decided to take an incredible step - to take home a small dog.

"Deciding to have a puppy was an important step for us, because we realize that he will need as much attention and love as a child, " Valeria shared with her subscribers.

The breed of the new pet is not exactly known, but it is very similar to a Maltipa - a mixture of a bolonka and a poodle. The famous actress Ksenia Mishina, who named her dog Odin, has the same breed.

Searching for the perfect name

Valeria also asked her followers to help choose a name for a new family member. The cook prepared 11 variants of names related to the world of cooking, among which were such as Cheesecake, Biscuit, Truffle and Eclair.

Culinary associations

"Our pet's name should be special, just like him. I chose options that have culinary associations - this is our common love, " Valeria said.

In the end, the girl narrowed down her choice to four applicants: Kuki (short for the English word "biscuit"), Misha (in honor of the Michelin star), Trufi (from "truffle") and Eclairchik. The last name is especially interesting, because it contains both the name of a delicious dessert and the abbreviation of Valeria's name - Lyera.

The first night with a pet

Preparing for the first night with a new pet was a real test for Valeria and Konstantin. They expected many difficulties, but everything went much better than they expected. The dog turned out to be almost perfect.

"Our first night was much calmer than we expected. Our baby is just gorgeous!" Valeriya shared her emotions.

We are waiting for the final decision on the name of the new pet, which will definitely be related to cooking and will bring even more warmth and joy to the Matrokhina family.
