Netflix has decided to bring back to life the cult show of the zeros "Tachku na pachchku", but in a new format and with a new name. The project is now called "Resurrected Rides". This new version promises to be more modern and exciting than the original.

New format and host

Viewers can expect eight episodes in the first season. Actor and comedian Chris Red will now take over the role of rapper Xzibit on the MTV show. Known for his humor and charisma, Red will bring new energy and style to the project.

"Resurrected Rides is an all-new car restoration series for the modern era, in which Red and his team of mechanics help deserving owners transform their beloved beat-up cars into road-going masterpieces, " reads the project description.

The return of the spirit of the original

The team of the new project has been joined by one of the creators of "Tachku na prochachku" Rick Harvitz, who will act as a producer. Harvitz shared his thoughts on the new project:

"We've taken the spirit and lore of the original and reimagined it with an engaging host, an all-new cast, and the stunning technology and culture of today."

The original show "Tachku na prochachku" was released from 2004 to 2007, conquering the hearts of viewers with its six seasons (73 episodes). It became an icon of its time, inspiring many to transform their old cars into real works of art.

The new project "Resurrected wheelbarrows" promises not only to preserve the legacy of the original, but also to bring it to a new level, adding modern technologies and cultural accents that reflect today's times.
