The new Ukrainian drama: "Forever-forever" by Anna Buryachkova is already in the cinema

The story of growing up in Kyiv in the 90s

The film tells the story of a young girl, Tonya, who decided to change the school in the city center to an institution in a residential area. She finds herself in the company of teenagers living in their own world of self-discovery, desperate decisions and love triangles. Love and friendship in the lives of the heroes are like knives, without halftones and irreversible.

The movie that conquered the Venice Film Festival

"Forever-Forever" already managed to make a statement at the 80th Venice Film Festival, where it was the only Ukrainian film competing for an award in the Orizzonti Extra program. Such attention of the international community is not accidental - the tape fascinates with its authentic, touching story, which faithfully conveys the atmosphere of the 90s in Eastern Europe.

Victories and recognition

In November 2023, the film won the main prize at the Film Festival Cottbus in Germany. The jury rated it as a "fascinating coming-of-age story" that impresses with its truthfulness and emotional depth.

This movie is an opportunity for adults to remember who they were in their youth, and for young people to see what has changed and what has remained unchanged over decades.
