The famous hit "Oceanu Elsa", which was released 24 years ago, received a new sound thanks to Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and the young generation of Ukrainian artists. Vakarchuk gathered KOLA, Jerry Heil, YAKTAK and SHUMEI to give the song new emotions and meaning.

Common aspiration and conviction

"24 years after its release on the cult album "Yananebibuv", the song has acquired a new sound, emotions and, most importantly, a new meaning. It now reflects the common aspiration and conviction of Ukrainians - our day will surely come!" - noted the band members.

Why these performers?

In one of the interviews, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk explained his choice to collaborate with these musicians:

"I wanted to sing with those artists who were literally born at the time when Elsa's Ocean was created, or after that, that is, they are the same age as the group."

Vakarchuk also added:

"Moreover, they are all talented people who feel music. Each of them has their own unique talent. Working with them was easy and became a real creative collaboration."
