In a captivating new endeavor, the New Channel has launched the production of its family-friendly quiz show, "City vs Village", promising to bridge the gap between urban and rural lifestyles with engaging challenges and exciting rewards.

Andrii Cherepushchak and Katya Olos: The Captains on a Mission

With Andrii Cherepushchak, known as the "Galician Diva, " leading the village team, and Katya Olos, a native of Poltava, heading the city team, the show sets the stage for a thrilling cultural exchange. Andrii, who spent his formative years in the quaint locales of Truskavets and Ulychne, embodies the rural spirit, while Katya brings her urban flair as she makes her debut in television hosting.

"Our show aims to unite Ukrainians. Especially during times of war, we yearn to feel like one solid unit. Sharing experiences, learning new things, being together!" remarked project leader Maksym Pastukhov.

Uniting Through Shared Experiences

"City vs Village" revolves around regular Ukrainians from bustling metropolises or cozy villages, participating in teams united by professions, hobbies, or familial ties. The show transcends the usual rivalry, focusing instead on who brings more energy, whether it's chopping wood or making sushi, the tasks are designed to be as enlightening as they are entertaining.

A Fresh Start for Katya Olos

For Katya, this show is a dream come true, as she joins the New Channel team, a network she admired since childhood. "I can't believe my dreams are coming true, " she shares, her enthusiasm contagious.

Andrii complements this sentiment, expressing their seamless collaboration: "It feels like we've known each other for years, even though we met just recently. She's a talented, cool, young wildcat."

A Win for Unity and Charity

The winning team will receive a grand prize of 100, 000 UAH, with the freedom to fulfill personal dreams or contribute to charitable causes. The show's essence lies in its ability to connect people, breaking stereotypes and fostering understanding between city dwellers and villagers.

As "City vs Village" prepares to grace the screens, it promises not only entertainment but also a journey of shared experiences, unity, and discovery for both participants and viewers alike.
