The event held this year was special for Budek, because it was here that he presented his autobiographical book "The Story of a Stubborn Man". This edition tells the story of his journey from blogger to military man who lost both lower limbs during the war.
Plans for the second part of the book
In a conversation with journalists, Budko shared his thoughts on writing the second part of the book. He noted that most likely, it will also be autobiographical with a motivational component.
"I'm definitely planning the second part of the book. I still don't know what format it will be in. Most likely, it will again be an autobiographical book with a motivational story, " the new "Bachelor" shared.
Popularity of the book and participation in the show
Interestingly, Budek's participation in the show "The Bachelor" did not affect the popularity of his autobiography. He emphasized that he wants the book to be a self-sufficient product, and not dependent on his media persona.
"I'm happy that people are buying the book regardless of my popularity. That's what I was aiming for. I don't want it to be bought because of me, I want it to be a separate product, self-sufficient, that deserves its own separate life, " - said the blogger.
Military career and motivation
Alexander's life path changed dramatically after the start of the full-scale invasion. He became a volunteer and assumed the position of platoon commander of the "Carpathian Rus" rifle battalion. During the performance of combat tasks in the Kharkiv region, Oleksandr was seriously wounded, which resulted in the loss of both lower limbs. Now he is learning to live on prostheses and does not lose faith in the future.
"On February 24, 2022, the life of Oleksandr, who, like thousands of his compatriots, has never held a weapon in his hands before, turns upside down. The only thing he knows for sure: the right to refuse the fight for independence does not exist in his worldview, he cannot simply stay somewhere far away, in safety, when the fate of the country is being decided, " the publication's description reads.
Plans for the future
Oleksandr Budko continues to actively work on his literary career and at the same time participates in the show "Bachelor", looking for his love. Whether the second part of his autobiography will be the same success, time will tell. But one thing can be said for sure: the story of Oleksandr Budek inspires and motivates.
