Ukrainian actor Ostap Stupka found himself at the center of a scandal after a road accident that led to a lawsuit and significant consequences for his career. His son, Dmytro Stupka, recently shared the details of the case, revealing the emotions and experiences of his family.

The court decision and its impact on Ostap Stupka

Dmytro Stupka shared in an interview that his father was difficult with the court proceedings after the road accident that occurred in April 2023. The court decided to sentence Ostap to imprisonment for 3 years and disqualification from driving for 8 years.

"What was he telling me? It's very unfortunate that this happened. But no one is immune from this, " Dmytro comments on his father's words. "All issues with the accident victim have been resolved — money has been paid both for treatment and for the car that was damaged, " he adds.

The evening that changed everything

On the day of the incident, Ostap Stupka and his friends spent a charity creative evening, collecting money for a military hospital. An accident occurred on a slippery road, as a result of which the driver of a parked car was injured. Dmytro notes that this was a big lesson for his father, and he promises to be more careful on the road.

Despite the difficult times, Ostap Stupka continues to work actively in theater and cinema. Dmytro says that his father recently received another "Kyiv pectoral" award for his role. "Because of the war, he doesn't have as much work as before, but everything is fine, " he says.
