Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, is back in the spotlight. This time not through music, but thanks to a frank confession about his personal life and struggle with addictions.
A shocking confession
In a new interview, Osbourne admitted that he still uses marijuana, although he tries to hide it from his wife Sharon. "I feel happier, but not completely sober, " Ozzy says.
"Even if it's just marijuana, she'll definitely find it and get rid of it, " Osborne says fondly of his wife.
Medical challenges and alternatives
The rock and roll legend suffers from Parkinson's disease and has neck and back problems. Recently, Ozzy tried ketamine to help him sleep during surgery, which made him think again about his own addiction.
"The doctor gave me a tiny dose, but it was enough to get me high. It actually hit my brain, " he says.
Return to the roots or a new beginning?
Ozzy also stated that he has stopped attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, but is now reflecting on whether it was the right decision. Should he return? "I'm not sure, " admits the musician.
Dangers of microdosing
Osborne warns young musicians against getting into microdosing, calling it a dangerous practice. "Drugs are not easy. It's like setting fire to oppression, " he says, giving an example from his own experience.

Although Ozzy Osbourne rarely appears at public events anymore, his presence at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland reminded the world of his enormous contribution to music. For now, the legend continues to fight for his health, trying to leave difficult times behind.
